The Knights of Columbus thank you for all the support received for our annual Tootsie Roll Drive. The Knights love handing out the Tootsie Rolls and appreciate the generous donations by parishioners and people from our community who donated when we staffed entrances to Walmart and the Pine Cone Coborn’s Superstore.
This year we collected nearly $2,300.00 and proceeds are given to help those with intellectual disabilities. This year the collection is being split among the following organizations:
· Sartell/St. Stephen Schools for their special education needs
· Friendship Ventures
· Minnesota Special Olympics,
· Catholic Education Ministries, and
· Boy Scouts special needs.
Thank you for your support!
The Knights of Columbus exemplify 4 principals - charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism. Knights are Catholic men, 18 years of age and older, who are committed to making their community a better place, while supporting their Church, pro-life, families, and vocations. If you are interested in joining the Knights, call Jeff Eikmeier at 252-7068 or Tom Offerdahl at 252-7673.
Father Michael J. McGivney founded the Knights of Columbus in 1882 at St. Mary's in New Haven, Ct. as an organization committed to Unity as a Catholic lay organization, Charity to those in need and Fraternity with fellow brother knights.
¨Today, Knights and their families remain true to these principles and work to spread Columbianism around the world. You and your family will benefit from membership in the Knights of Columbus. Join today and help make a better tomorrow.
