Second Trimester

The second trimester is quickly coming to an end. This Friday, February 17^th is the last day of AR for the 2^nd trimester. Friday the 24^th is the last day of the trimester. Parent Teacher Conferences will be on Thursday evening, March 1^st and Friday morning, March 2^nd.

AAA Preparations Underway

In addition to instruction, the school year at SFX is sprinkled with extra opportunities and activities. The week of February 27-March 2^nd is AAA week. Arts and Academic Awards is an opportunity for students to be recognized for skills and talents that are not part of the regular school day. 72 SFX students will be displaying arts and crafts, and demonstrating talents in the performance category  with karate, singing, or playing musical instruments.

Shall the Minnesota Constitution be amended to provide that only a union of one man and one woman shall be valid or recognized as a marriage in Minnesota?

Update - Catholic United Financial Raffle for SFX

The raffle is going well. Over $5,000 has been collected and we still have two weeks left. Last year SFX raised $8,630. We may do even better this year!

DEADLINE – FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 24TH

The deadline for turning in ticket stubs and money, or unsold tickets, is Friday, February 24^th. Fed Ex is scheduled to pick up ticket stubs for the last time on Monday, February 27^th. The drawing for prizes will be in St. Paul on Thursday, March 1^st.

PLEASE MAKE CHECKS PAYABLE TO SFX.

IMPORTANT*** A raffle is considered gaming, and we must abide by gaming regulations. Each ticket is numbered. SFX has to keep track of which tickets each family has. The ticket stubs and money, or unsold tickets, must be returned to the school office

 
 
Selling Raffle Tickets after Masses
Catholic United Financial members will sell tickets again the weekend of February 18th/19th. It is our school community’s responsibility to sell tickets after Masses on the weekend listed below. Please look at the opportunities below and sign up to sell after a Mass. It only takes a few minutes.
